This slender cup is simple and modern. It holds about 100 ml.

A border line has been created by overlapping white slip. The same glaze is used for both the beige and gray types, which have a slightly different nuance when fired. Kohiki is water-absorbent and can stain so some worry about how to care for kohiki ware. Coaxing forth the patina with regular use can be a  nice way to enjoy kohiki vessels. 

Hanako makes each piece by hand, one by one. Slight variations in size, shape, color, and surface are inherent to the process. We hope you will embrace these small differences as characteristics that give each piece individuality and character, making them all the more lovable.
