A mukozuke (a dish particular to tea ceremony kaiseki) with an accent on the spout. It is also recommended as a personal bowl for winter hot pot.
White slip on red clay is called kohiki, and when fired with reduction, iron in the clay comes out, creating a spotted appearance.
