Good meals shouldn’t be rushed and good food tastes better when it’s savored. The chopstick rest is a resting place for your chopsticks in those moments of pause and conversation with friends and family. It’s a small piece that plays an important role in a leisurely evening. 

A black coating is applied to white clay and randomly scraped off to create a scored pattern. The texture of the chamfering can be faintly felt in the palm of the hand.
